Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies that are mostly of the horror or martial arts types. Her style and approach are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action movies that have a twisted fascination. She began her reviews in late 2009; when she began to gain some recognition (under the old name Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler subsequently became part of the family at Channel Awesome. The website remained online through the beginning of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed its name to Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on the channel, both of which focus on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
